Illegal, Unregulated, and Unreported (IUU) Fishing is a massive threat for Indonesia’s marine and fishery. Indonesia lost Rp 300 trillions every year caused by IUU Fishing. Not only that, IUU Fishing also has multi effect that will harm Indonesia, sush as; the destruction of fish environment, transnational crimes, and will massively decrease the local fish production. Indonesia have to find the solution for this issue. So that, Indonesia’s Ministry of Marine and Fishery under Minister Susi Pudjiastuti has a solution through “Strategy to Eradicate Illegal, Unregulated, and Unreported (IUU) Fishing” to solve this problem.
