INDUKSI EMBRIOSOMATIK ANGGREK Vanda tricolor DENGAN PERLAKUAN 2,4 D DAN BAP
Abstract
Vanda tricolor orchid is an endemic orchid of Mount Merapi, which grows around the slopes of Mount Merapi. The combination concentration of hormone in vitro culture propagation will affect the growth of the orchid. The aim of the study was to determine the best concentration of 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, and cytokinin Benzil Amino Purine for inducing somaticembryo of Vanda tricolor. The research was arranged in a Factorial Randomized Design (RAL) 3x3 with 2 factors, the first factor is 2,4 D (0 mg/L, 2 mg/L and 4 mg/L) the second factor is Benzyl Amino Purine concentration (0 mg/L, 0.1 mg/L and 0.5 mg/L). The results showed that the shoots gave a growth response to the treatment given, although the analysis showed no interaction or no significant difference. The 2.4D 2 mg / l concentration tends to give more results with a greater number of leaf growth (0,77 leaves), a longer plant height of (0,29 mm), a higher number of roots (0,55). For the pro-embryo parameter, concentration of 0 mg / l 2,4 D gave a high yield of (1,11 embryos).
