KERJASAMA PEMERINTAH INDONESIA DAN ARAB SAUDI MENINGKATKAN PERLINDUNGAN TERHADAP TENAGA KERJA INDONESIA (STUDI KASUS : EKSEKUSI MATI TERHADAP TKI) 2014-2018
Abstract
Death Execution is the most severe criminal punishment that is still determined by several countries in the world, especially in Saudi Arabia. The execution was carried out in Saudi Arabia under the pretext of implementing Islamic law. However, the executions set by Saudi Arabia for Indonesian Workers often did not give prior notification to the Indonesian side. The lack of protection from the Indonesian state towards migrant workers makes migrant workers often experience violence which leads to executions in Saudi Arabia. To increase protection for migrant workers, remember the large number of cases of executions and also strengthening relations between the two countries, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia made an International Cooperation agreement.
