      Abstract
      Concrete is one of construction material that used for building that consists of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, cement, water, also additional material (admmicture). The concrete structure ofthen have problems such as delayed casting process because of many factors like low mobilization and many more. This problems cause the effect of cold joint in surface and under concrete layer duet o concrete setting time shortly. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the concrete that having a cold joint at horizontal cast eith compression strength. Concrete that used in this study isu sing admixture such as additive material (besmittel). Adding besmittel in this study is to know the proportional concrete that needed when adding the additive material and to know the vlue of compression strength. The result of study with casting time delay 120 minutes caused of low quality of compression strength with 28 days age for 6,12% horizontal and 5,26% vertical. For the casting time delay 240 minutes, compression strength decreased with 19,40% horizontal and 11,04% vertical. This study shows that the casting time of 120 minutes and 240 minutes of vertical direction is stronger 0.86% and 8.46% compared to the horizontal direction. The results shown that vertical direction is better than horizontal, it means more it’s casting time day delay, the compression strength of the concrete decreased.
