This research is aimed at analyzing the parenting pattern and identifying the interest in Qur’an recitation among children of Tegalsari Kandeman Batang, and further at providing prove for the influence of parenting pattern toward the interest in Qur’an recitation among children of Tegalsari Kandeman Batang. This research was descriptive qualitative of correlational model. The research was population research with total number of 59 children. Data was compiled through questionnaire and was then analyzed descriptively using anova test, simple linear regression and hypothesis test. The result indicated that: (1) parenting pattern at Tegalsari Kandeman Batang belonged to the interval of 105-107 consisting of 19 children with the frequency of 32% and thus fell into a very high category. Whilst, a low interval was seen from the interval of 111-113 consisting of 5 children. Referring to the mean value of 107,58, the value fell into the interval of 108-110. Thus, it was said that parenting pattern was in moderate category. (2) The interest in Qur’an recitation at Tegalsari Kandeman Batang was in the interval of 107-110 consisting of 23 children with the percentage of 39% and thus belonged to a very high category. Whilst, the low category was seen from the interval of 119-122 consisting of 1 children. Referring to the mean value of 111,27, the value fell into the interval of 111-114. Thus, it was said that the interest in Qur’an recitation was in moderate category. (3) Parenting pattern influenced the interest on Qur’an recitation among children of Tegalsari Kandeman Batang.This was proven by and seen from the result of anova test which indicated a significance value of 0,039 < 0,05. Thus, Ha was accepted, meaning that parenting pattern influenced the interest in Qur’an recitation among children of Tegalsari Kandeman Batang.
