dc.descriptionKarang Taruna as a youth organization in the village plays an important role in the empowerment of surrounding communities. The Sidowayah community has realized the importance of this youth organizations therefore, they can find opportunities to utilize local resources, including the development of educational tourism in the village of Dolanan. Thus, this study aims to determine the extent of the role of youth in empowering village youth. This study includes qualitative research with reference to the opinion of Sugiyono (2013). Determination of the subject was carried out by deliberate method (pusporsive), which consisted of village heads, facilitators and community leaders. Data collection techniques were carried out by participatory observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions and documentation studies. Data is analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the role of youth organizations as facilitators is to assist, foster and handle the problems of village youth in order to achieve the targets assigned to them according to their functions.en_US
