      Abstract
World Health Organization (WHO) is an International Organization engaged as an international general health coordinator, formed on April 7, 1948 and has a headquarters at Le Palais des Natios, Geneva, Switzerland. That date is now commemorated as a world health day. In 2014 in West Africa, a deadly disease spread called Ebola or Ebola Fever, this disease was first discovered in the Republic of the Congo in 1976. Then widespread spread to three countries in Africa, namely Sierra Leone, Guinea, and the worst in Liberia. The author raised the title of this Thesis "World Health Organization (WHO) efforts in handling the Ebola in Liberia case 2014-2015" namely to find out the efforts made by International Organizations in handling cases that have claimed thousands of people. The theorists used in this thesis are International Organizations and International Cooperation. Based on the concepts authors use, there are three categories of roles according to International Organizations and five categories of cooperation according to their fields. The three roles are International Organizations as Instruments, Arenas or Forums, and Actors. In its efforts to handle Ebola cases in Liberia, WHO has several efforts, one of which is the establishment of the United Nations Mission Ebola Emergency Response (UNMEER) and in collaboration with world pharmaceutical companies to produce the Ebola vaccine.
