dc.descriptionCorn is one of the mainstay commodities in Grobogan Regency. So far, corn farmers often sell corn in the form of shelled rice. In the corn harvest season, the price of shelled corn tends to fall. This is quite detrimental to corn farmers. Though corn can be processed into several snacks that are expected to provide added value from corn products. Corn chips as one of the raw corn-based agro-industries can be further developed to increase the income of corn farmers. This study aims to analyze the added value and feasibility of corn agroindustry in Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency. The sample is a corn farmer who also has a corn chips processing business. Data were analyzed using value added analysis and investment feasibility including IRR, NPV and Payback period. The results of the study obtained an increase in added value created from the last corn emping industry amounting to Rp 5,116.4 per kilogram of raw corn shell material, with a profit of Rp 2,716.4 per kilogram, NPV value was obtained at Rp 12,669,774, and investment will return after 1 year 6 months. This shows that the last corn cracking industry deserves further development.en_US
