dc.descriptionChilli is one of horticulture that many are farming. The farmer’s problems are fluctuation of price and pest attacks that cause crop failure. This research was aimed to analyze costs, profit,eligibility, and the risk which farmer to be faced in red pepper farming with monoculture cropping and intercropping in Wukirsari village, sub-district of Cangkringan, Sleman regency. The respondents in this research was taken through purposive sampling method of eighty chilli farmers as well with monoculture or intercropping patterns. The data that was used are secondary and premier data. The data was taken through interview technique using questionnaire. The data analysis using income, appropriateness, and risk. The result of this research was represented that the income coverage of chilli farmer using monoculture patterns,chilli with intercropping of beans, chilli with intercropping of mustard, and chilli with intercropping of cucumber an respectively is Rp. 6.664.062, Rp. 5.835.225, Rp. 6.977.979, and Rp. 7.418.558. The chilli farming using monoculture pattern or intercropping pattern in Wukirsari village is feasible to do that based on R/C, productivity of capital, productivity of land, and productivity of labour. The highest risk of production that was faced by red paper farmer using monoculture cropping is 0,11, the highest risk of red pepper using intercropping of beans is 0,25.en_US
