GAMBARAN TINGKAT KEPUASAN KELUARGA PADA PELAYANAN KEPERAWATAN DI RUANG ICU RUMAH SAKIT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Background: Satisfaction is a feeling of pleasure that someone feels when what is expected according to the event even exceeds what is expected. Nurses are a health profession that has an important role in providing health services. Nurses at the Hospital are the health workers who have the most and the longest contact with patients and families. Indicators of good or bad quality of hospital services can be measured by the satisfaction of patients and families in receiving health services, especially nursing services. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of family satisfaction in nursing services at the ICU PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta.
Research Metods: this research method is descriptive quantitative for 30 families of patients in the ICU Hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta with a total sampling technique using the RATER instrument.
Research Result: The characteristics of respondents in this study were obtained results that most of the respondents age were 41-56 years (66.7%). Based on the sex of the respondents most of them were women, namely 22 (73.3%). Based on the data of the respondent's work, most of the jobs of the respondents were self-employed, namely 14 (46.7%). Based on the last education data of the respondents most of the respondents' last education was High School, namely 12 (40.0%). The level of family satisfaction in nursing services showed that 15 (50%) were satisfied and 18 (50%) felt very satisfied.
Conclusion: the results of the study state that all respondents feel satisfied with the nursing services at the ICU so that nurses always maintain it.
