      Abstract
      This article explains about the effort of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) movement in same-sex marriage policy legalization in the United States of America in 2015. The development of LGBT community in the United States of America is increasing rapidly. The existence of the community that was previously considered to be taboo, in the end it could influence the community even the government of the United States of America. Eventually, they are able to affect the emergence of any kind of policies regarding the LGBT movement. One of the biggest policies is the legalization of same-sex marriage in the United States of America nationwide in 2015. Then the question arises, how is the effort of the LGBT community to legalize same-sex marriage policy? The purpose of this article is to find out how the efforts of the LGBT community influencing the government in the legalization of same-sex marriage policies in the United States of America nationwide. In the end this article, it will show that the LGBT community is able to form a new norm and form interest groups in order to influence the government of the United States of America until that same-sex marriage policies can be legalized
