Abstract: The organic farming system is a method that can be applied in producing high-quality products and ensuring the preservation of the environment for sustainable production. As the farm manager, organic farmers have an important role in as well as an increasing their farming income and family welfare as the goal of their farming activity. This research aims to know the management capacity and know how the characterisitics of entrepreneurship against the management capacity of organic rice farming. Survey was done by interviews rice organic farmers from four districts in Bantul on organic rice farmers. The results show that in general the analysis management capacity of organic rice farming is relatively good already. There was a significant positive relationship between the management capacity of farmers with farmers’ entrepreneurial characteristics
