PENGARUH TEKNIK NAFAS DALAM DAN MURROTTAL TERHADAP SKALA NYERI SESUDAH PERAWATAN LUKA PADA PASIEN POST OPERASI DI RSU PKU MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL
Abstract
Background: Postoperative wound is a wound that comes from the existence of a
surgery will be performed treatments. A wound care measures to prevent infection
and improve wound healing process, but in actual use can increase the intensity of
pain. Pain is one of the most common complaints in patients after suffering a wound
care measures. The treatment or pain management that can be done is deep
breathing technique and murrottal.
Purpose: To determine the effect of deep breathing techniques and murotal the scale
of pain after wound care in patients post-surgery.
Methode: Quasy-eksperiment approach to two-group pretest and posttest design. The
sample amount is 36 respondents consisting of 18 respondents in the deep breathing
group and 18 respondent murrottal group with technique of purposive sampling.
Instruments for measuring pain scale use NRS (Numeric Rating Scale). Data had
been analyzed using Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney U test.
Result: There is effect of deep breathing and murrottal to reducepain scale during
wound care in patient post surgery The p value is p=0.000. There are no significant
between deep breathing techniques and murrottal to the pain scale during wound
care in patient post surgery with the p= 0,656.
Conclusion and Suggestion:Giving murrottal and deep breathing relaxation
technique has effect to reduce pain in postoperative patient. Nurses are expected to
use interventions in this study into one of intervention in the hospital. For the next
researcher in order to control confounding factors
