STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN GRIYA COKELAT NGLANGGERAN DI DESA NGLANGGERAN PATUK GUNUNG KIDUL YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe the internal and external factors by Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran, formulate various alternative development strategies and formulated priority strategies to be applied in the Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran. The respondents were all the management of Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran, local communities, supplier and consummers. The method used is SWOT analysis. The results showed that the internal factors possessed by Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran consisted of partners with various parties, good access, adequate facilities, affordable product prices, varied products, sufficient and experienced labors, friendly service, regular production schedules, complete bookkeeping, the brand is well known, the widespread marketing of products and the use of production equipment is still simple, the building is relatively small, the structure of the parking lot is still land, lack of signposts, limited engine capacity, the price of products outside the showroom is expensive and the workforce is flexible and promotion is lacking . The external factors faced by Nglanggeran Chocolate Griya are Nglanggeran village as a tourist village, easy-to-find raw materials, good relations with surrounding communities, diverse origins of consumers, local products, similar competitors namely TTP, technology used on large scale TTP and the location of the TTP is more strategic. The development strategy that was a priority in the business development of Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran was to market the product by opening outlets around tourist areas in Gunung Kidul through the help of partners.
