ANALISA POTENSI SUMBER DAYA ANGIN SEBAGAI PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA BAYU (PLTB) BERBASIS APLIKASI HOMER DI PANTAI INDRAYANTI, GUNUNGKIDUL
Abstract
Electricity is an energy source that is very much needed for human life.
The increase in electricity energy consumption in Indonesia also has an impact on
the reduction of fossil energy and the need for an increase in power plants owned
by Indonesia. the solution is to utilize new renewable energy sources. According
to LAPAN One potential renewable energy source in Indonesia is a source of
wind energy. There is a potential for wind speeds of 4 to 5 m / s in the southern
coast of Java.
This study uses homer application as a research method. The wind rate
data used in this study is secondary data from the NASA database with location
coordinates located on Indrayanti Beach.
The results of calculations and analysis on the PLTB system planning are
simulated on the HOMER application, aiming to facilitate the electrical energy
needs of 150 houses. From the results of calculations simulated by HOMER, the
total demand for electricity use is 749.7 kWh / day, the average electricity load
per hour is 31.24 kW and the possibility of a peak load that can occur within 1
year is 83.48 kWp. The design of this system HOMER uses an off-grid system
configuration with a combination of 42 wind turbines with a capacity of 6 kW DC,
2616 batteries with a capacity of 4,463 Ah, and a 105 kW inverter. From the
HOMER simulation with the optimal configuration of the author's choice the
PLTB system can produce a total energy of 488,949 kWh / year. With AC load
consumption of 273,549 kWh / year. Excess electricity or excess electricity from
this plant is 195,706 kWh / year. The investment cost or Net Present Cost (NPC)
of the PLTB is $3,692,447.00, the operatinonal ($ / yr) and maintenance cost is
$202.82 / year.
