KARAKTERISTIK MODULUS ELASTISITAS DAN DAYA DUKUNG MATERIAL SUBBASE COURSE TIPE KELAS A BERBASIS PENGUKURAN DEFLEKSI
Abstract
Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD) is one of the methods used to evaluate the quality of pavement by deflection analysis. This apparatus measures the vertical deformation of a pavement by applying loads that dropped from a certain level of height. Elastic modulus was analyzed based on the data recorded from the test. This study aims to measure the structural strength based on the elastic modulus of the subbase course. Type A of material was selected as the subbase course. LWD test was conducted on 16 locations with ±30 cm intervals. The load applied by two types of levels: 23 cm and 33 cm in height. Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) was also carried out in the same location for data comparison. The regression analysis was employed to investigate the correlation between both methods. The result of this study shows that the higher load of drop level hence the higher elastic modulus. A strong correlation between CBR and elastic modulus value from DCP and LWD on levels 1 and 2 showed by the R2 value in the amount of 0,5734 and 0,8241 respectively
