PENGARUH PENGGANTIAN AGREGAT HALUS DENGAN SERUTAN KARET BAN BEKAS PADA CAMPURAN BETON TERHADAP DAYA REDAM GETARAN
Abstract
Waste is the main problem faced by the world today, one of them is the waste of used tires. Waste of used tires, without us realizing it is one of the problems that is difficult to overcome because rubber tires are difficult to unravel and difficult to recycle again. One form of waste tyre treatment used is manjadikannya into chunks or shavings to be utilized in other forms. This research uses used tire powder to replace the fine aggregate in concrete mixture, hopefully can minimize the result of vibration received by concrete. The research carried out in the form of strong press and the mute power to mix the concrete and powder used tire with rubber percentage 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% against sand. The results of the research can be noted that, the more the percentage of used tire powders as a smooth aggregate substitute, the more decreased strong press is owned. The mute power tests can be noted that more and more of the former tire powder mixture is the larger the vibration attenuation. Concrete with used tyre shavings as a smooth aggregate substitute is expected to be environmentally friendly concrete
