ANALISIS VOLUME, KECEPATAN, DAN KEPADATAN DENGAN METODE GREENSHIELDS PADA LENGAN BUNDARAN JOMBOR
Abstract
Traffic congestion is common problem in daily live. The increase of traffic
volume each year will make changes of traffic behavior. Main road is very
important in connecting roads outside urban and urban roads, it is necessary to
analyze the estimated volume, speed, and density to minimize congestion that
occurs in the future. This research used the Greenshields method to analyze volume,
speed, and density at the Jombor roundabout side Analysis data using MKJI 1997
method, where the traffic volume is converted into units of pcu / hour. From the
results of processing survey data from all four sides, Magelang A road has the
highest congestion level with V = 2376.9 pcu / hour, US = 24.7 km / hr, and D =
96.23 pcu / km, while in the calculation of Greenshields method Vmaks obtained =
2636.41 pcu / hour, Sm = 17.999 km / hr, and Dm = 146.48 pcu / km.
