EVALUASI KINERJA SIMPANG BERSINYAL DENGAN SOFTWARE PTV VISSIM 10.0 PADA SIMPANG EMPAT BERSINYAL BATIKAN YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Yogyakarta is one of the cities with high traffic density in Indonesia. this is because the city of Yogyakarta is a student city, which makes many migrants into the city and results in higher growth in transportation use on the streets. With the increasing volume of vehicles on the road, of course the higher the potential for traffic problems, especially at intersections. One of the intersections that experienced problems was at the Jl.Batikan signal intersection, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Around the intersection, there are many sources of movement including lectures, offices, and settlements. Looking at the condition of the intersection, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the intersection in order to improve the quality of service at the intersection. The evaluation was conducted with the aim that the quality of service in the existing conditions can be known and then find the right solution to improve service quality at the intersection of Jl.Batikan.. the results obtained in the study using PTV VISSIM 10.0 Software and MKJI (1997) rules as a reference are the average delay of 119.02 and service level (LOS)) F on existing conditions, the average delay is 112.3 and the service level (LOS ) F in scenario 1 is done by maximizing cycle time, and the average delay is 95.5 and the service level (LOS)) F in scenario 2 is done by widening and maximizing cycle times, and the average delay is 75.8 seconds and LOS E in scenario 3 is done by widening and maximizing cycle times. From the results of the obtained intersection modeling analysis, scenario 3 was taken as the best scenario to improve the quality of the four intersection services with Batikan signal
