PERBANDINGAN WAKTU METODE ERECTION GIRDER MENGGUNAKAN CRAWLER CRANE DAN LAUNCHER GIRDER PADA JEMBATAN BENTANG PANJANG
Abstract
Trans Java Highway is a highway network that connects cities in Java island. This highway connects the two biggest cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta and Surabaya. Approximately 1,000 kilometers in length, it continues the existing highways. One of them is the construction of Semarang- Solo highway, a portion of Salatiga- Kartasura highway. In its construction, there is one of important works, i.e. the erection of girder to pierhead. The work needs quite a lot of land. One of the erection girder works is in Kenteng and Serang rivers, located in the section of 4.1. The bridge construction plan of Kenteng and Serang rivers in Semarang regency, Central Java is about 455 meters in its long span. In the beginning, the erection of the bridge would use launcher girder method. Because it still requires further observation in terms of time, it needs alternative method as a comparison, namely crawler crane. Both methods have strength and weakness so that it needs observation from the aspect of time. From the calculation result of productivity analysis from both tools, crawler crane method is faster with total erection time of 44 days than that of launcher girder with erection time of 68 days. If using crawler crane, the erection time for 1 girder is about 1 hour, while if using launcher girder, it takes 2.5 hours.
