ANALISIS KINERJA SIMPANG TAK BERSINYAL 4 LENGAN
Abstract
The intersection analyzed in this study is a four arms unsignalized intersection which is located at the meeting section of Jl. Wahid Hasyim and Jl. Mataram ditch. This location was chosen because based on the initial survey conducted, this intersection was close to the shopping and residential areas. In plain view this intersection is considered to be quite dense and during peak hours it experiences congestion. Based on the background and problems above, the purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of the intersection, calculate the volume of vehicles passing through the intersection, and provide a good alternative. The benefits of this study are: 1. Increasing knowledge in analyzing performance in unsignalized intersections, 2. Knowing the performance of intersections, 3. The results of this study are expected to be input by related parties in an effort to improve traffic services, especially in Yogyakarta. Methods namely methods, tools, and materials used in taking, analyzing and identifying a variable that is done to find solutions to problems that exist in this study using tools as a collection of basic data that is taking samples from a population. The analysis results show that the highest degree of saturation received by the study intersection is on Monday 31 July 2018 at 14.30-15.30 WIB with a degree of saturation of 1.02, the capacity obtained is 2473 pcu / hour and the intersection delay is 20.02 seconds / junior high school From the results of alternative analysis 1, the value of degree of saturation (DS) becomes 0.73, the intersection delay (D) becomes 11.00 seconds / pcu, capacity (C) 2496 pcu / hour, alternative 2 gets the degree of saturation (DS) to 0, 69, the intersection delay (D) becomes 11.37 seconds / pcu, capacity (C) 2521 pcu / hour, alternative 3 obtains the degree of saturation (DS) to 0.87, the intersection delay (D) becomes 14.70 seconds / pcu , capacity (C) 2893 pcu / hour. From the results of the alternative analysis it can be concluded that by using these alternatives the capacity at the intersection becomes more effective.
