PERANCANGAN ROBOT MANUAL KONTES ROBOT ABU INDONESIA (KRAI) TAHUN 2018
Abstract
The Indonesian ABU Robot Contest (KRAI) is one of the divisions in the Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. In 2018, the Indonesian ABU Robot Contest (KRAI) has the theme "Throwing Blessing Ball". The robot used is 2 pieces, one robot is a manual robot. The design of manual robots is based on predetermined rules including the dimensions of the robot, the mechanism of movement of the robot, and the overall function of the robot. The robot designed is a type of mobile robot. The movement method used uses a DC motor with a mechanical type wheel. Mechanical type wheels are used because the wheel has a mecanum drive movement system that can move in any direction. A servo motor is used as an arm on a robot that functions to hold and retrieve the ball on the ball rack. The robot is moved by a remote control by sending a signal from the transmitter to the receiver. The receiver will send commands to the microcontroller. The microcontroller used is ATMega2560 type. The microcontroller will send a PWM signal to the BTS7960 motor driver that is used for the direction of the PG45 DC motor. The PWM signal is used to adjust the speed of the DC motor and change the angle of the servo motor from 0 ° to 180 ° to open and close the robot arm. Tests carried out on the design of a robot are the effect of a PWM signal from 0 to 255 and changes in voltage value of a DC motor according to change speed by PWM signal, mecanum wheel invers kinematic, and channel function on remote control of the robot.
