KAJIAN EKSPERIMENTAL TENTANG PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN CDI RACING PROGRAMMABLE TERHADAP KINERJA MOTOR BENSIN 4 LANGKAH 135 CC BERBAHAN BAKAR PREMIUM DAN PERTAMAX
Abstract
Advanced technological in the automotive industry have entered the stage that
should be more efficient. The fuel should be economical, the emissions produced
must be safe for the environment and has high octane value. Then the use of
motorized fuel also needs to look for other safer alternative fuels. For this
purpose, the Pertamax 95 type can be used.
This study carried out the to measure of torque, power, and fuel consumption
from the usage of CDI Racing (Programmble) and Standard CDI. Retrieval of
torque and power data using the spontaneous throttle method. This spontaneous
throttle stage starts by turning on the engine of the motorbike then the throttle was
stabilized at 4000 rpm. After that rotate the throttle until the maximum rotation.
The results of this test are carried out with dynotest as equitment to obtain power
and torque results.
From this study, it was found that the highest torque was obtained when using the
standard pertamax fuel CDI, which was at 4507 rpm the highest torque of 15.80
N.m. The highest power obtained when using a racing CDI (programmble) made
from pertamax, namely at the engine speed of 4510 rpm the highest power is 13.0
HP. From the results of taking fuel consumption data, the most efficient results
are obtained when using fuel-based CDI racing pertamax with 61.33 km / liter.
