PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN CDI BRT, KOIL RACING DAN BUSI IRIDIUM TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK PERCIKAN BUNGA API DAN KINERJA MOTOR MEGAPRO 160CC BERBAHAN BAKAR PERTALITE
Abstract
Science and technology in Indonesia many societies modify their vehicles by adding parts or changing their original components to get maximum result. One part that is often to modify is the ignition part with the replacement of CDI Racing, Coil Racing and Spark plug Iridium to boost the combustion process in the combustion chamber.
This study was conducted on motor cycle Mega Pro 160 cc fuel of pertalite to know sparks, torsion, power and fuel consumption of the variation made. Power and torsion testing is done at 4000 – 10000 rpm engine speed. While the testing of fuel consumption is done at +/- 0-40 km / h speed white 250 ml fuel dose.
From the researce result, the best sparks on variation of standard CDI, Koil Racing and Spark plug Iridium is due to this variation of constant spark fire. The biggest torsion is found in variation of standard CDI, Coil Racing with Spark plug Iridium of 16,12 N.m at 6100 rpm. The greatest power is obtained on the standard CDI, Coil Racing and Spark plug Iridium of 13,8 HP at 6150 rpm engine speed. As for the lowest Spark plug consumption is obtained on the variation of CDI Racing with Coil Racing and Fuel Iridium as far 49,50 km / liter.
