PERENCANAAN PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA SURYA PHOTOVOLTAIC DENGAN SISTEM OFF-GRID PADA ATAP JALUR PEDESTRIAN LAPANGAN BINTANG UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
The planning of Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant with an Off-Grid system on the roof of the Lapangan Bintang’s pedestrian track at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta aims to meet the needs of electric loads that exist in the Lapangan Bintang of Muhammadiyah University in Yogyakarta. The planning of Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant with an Off-Grid system does not calculate the amount of load that will be supplied by electric power plants, while only calculating the area to be used for placement of Photovoltaic Panels and other solar power components. The planning of Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant with an Off-Grid system begins with completing the area and shape of the roof of the pedestrian path of the Lapangan Bintang, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Then planning the number of components was made with the laying of Photovoltaic panels on the pedestrian pathway of the Star Field of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Next is discussing the initial investment cost of PLTS Fotovoltaik planning with the Off-Grid system. The area used as a place for laying a Photovoltaic panel is 729,944m2. While the total area covered by the Photovoltaic Panel is 198.963m2. The number of Photovoltaic Panels used is 232 pieces with the capacity of each panel of 120 WP. With a system voltage of 48VDC the number of 12V 265Ah batteries is 200 units, the Solar Charge Controller 100A is 7 pieces and the inverter 3 pieces with a capacity of 8,000W PLTS Fotovoltaic with this Off-Grid system can produce a power potential of 54,190.82 kWh / year. The total initial investment needed in planning the PLTS with the Off-Grid system is Rp.1.405.760.000. Maintenance and Operational Costs of Rp.44.400.000 / Year with a 25-year Life Cycle Cost of Rp. 1.973.345.624
