PENGAPLIKASIAN KONSEP GREEN CAMPUS UMY DENGAN METODE EFISIENSI ENERGI DAN KONSERVASI ENERGI DI GEDUNG E4
Abstract
The Green campus system is done in a campus that demands all its citizens to do some real action in the form of energy efficiency or energy conservation, energy conservation, and so on to support a friendly campus the environment and minimize the occurrence of global warming in campus life. Currently, most of the existing campus in Indonesia are being heavily incessant do green campus and one of them with the use of electric energy wisely for the continuity of the electric energy needs to come from depleting. And one of them is the campus of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, the first step to do Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta is by replacing lighting and electronic device cooling for all of his room, this research was done in once one building the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, namely building E4. Firstly, the researcher did a survey to get data about lightning and cooling that used in the E4 building. Secondly, after conducting a survey, the researcher did calculation and comparison with more efficient lightning and cooling in the use of electricity, namely the use of LED lights and Air Conditioning inverter. Finally, the results of the calculations showed that the lightning and cooling in Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta only used the power of 141 mWh, meanwhile if the proposed lightning and cooling was 111 mWh, the university could reduce the energy consumption of electricity of 30 mWh, and this could support the slogan of the university to be a green campus.
