dc.descriptionThe existence of a 30% quota policy for female council members increases women's representation in Indonesia both at the central and regional levels. The city of Yogyakarta currently has a 20% quota filled by women, out of a total of 40 seats as many as 10 seats are occupied by women. Although the 30% quota policy has not been fulfilled so far the participation of women who sit in the board seats continues to increase. This study aims to find out how the performance of female board members in the Regional Representative Council of the City of Yogyakarta in 2014-2019. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by participating in filling out questionnaires and written interviews with purposive sampling technique in taking informants. There are eight indicators that are used to assess the performance of the board including effectiveness, efficiency, legitimacy, power, law, emotional, feminism, supervision, and criticism. The results of the study show that there is no tendency that female politicians are far superior to male politicians personally. So far the performance of female politicians has been carried out with the body as it should be based on the board's performance corridor for the 2014-2019 period. dc.description.abstractAdanya kebijakan kuota 30% bagi anggota dewan perempuan membuat keterwakilan perempuan di Indonesia meningkat baik di pusat maupun daerah. Kota Yogyakarta saat ini memiliki 20% kuota yang telah diisi oleh perempuan, dari jumlah total 40 kursi sebanyak 10 kursi diduduki oleh perempuan. Walaupun kebijakan kuota 30% belum terpenuhi sejauh ini partisipasi perempuan yang duduk di kursi dewan terus meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja anggota dewan perempuan di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat daerah Kota Yogyakarta Tahun 2014-2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan turut melakukan pengisian kuesioner serta wawancara tertulis dengan teknik purposive sampling dalam pengambilan informan. Terdapat delapan indikator yang digunakan untuk menilai kinerja dewan di antaranya efektivitas, efesiensi, legitimasi, kekuasaan, hukum, emosional, feminisme, pengawasan, dan kritik. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak ada kencenderungan bahwa politisi perempuan jauh lebih unggul dibandingkan politisi laki-laki secara pribadi. Sejauh ini kinerja politisi perempuan sudah dilaksanakan dengan bak sebagaimana mestinya berdasarkan koridor kinerja dewan periode 2014-2019. Hasil tersebut didapatkan dari penilaian dan pendapat responden baik pihak yang pro,kontra, dan netral serta dengan melakukan observasi saat penelitian.en_US
