INTEGRASI NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER RELIGIUS MELALUI MATA PELAJARAN ISMUBA DI SMK MUHAMMADIYAH GAMPING
Abstract
This study aims to examine the model of integrating religious character values through ISMUBA subjects (Islam, Muhammadiyah, and Arabic) and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors faced during the process of integrated learning in SMK (Vocational School) Muhammadiyah Gamping. The forms of religious characters that become the concern in this study are: understanding and obedience to the teachings of the religion, tolerance with the followers of other religions, and being able to live in harmony with followers of other religions.
The type of research used in this study was a case study with the qualitative approach. The object chosen were three ISMUBA teachers and principals. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis model used was the Miles and Huberman method through three stages, namely data reduction, presentation of data, and conclusion drawing.
The results of this study indicate that the integration of the religious character values through ISMUBA subjects in SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping can be said to be good. It is because the process of integrating religious character values was done through the example of the teacher’s words, attitudes, and actions, as well as expressing religious values on subjects and then giving examples that are appropriate to students’ daily lives.
