This thesis analyzes the efforts made by ICBL in realizing a landmine-free world, in this case the ICBL is an important force in formulating a landmine ban regime known as the Ottawa Convention. The driver of this movement is also the support of the state that supports the efforts of the birth of the prohibition regime. Over time the struggle of ICBL has resulted in a reduction in the number of casualties and mine stocks owned by the state and criminal groups and many other successes. It can be achieved certainly not without obstacles, the ICBL struggle and its partners continue to be carried out to date for the realization of world peace.
