PERANCANGAN ALAT PRESS PADA PROSES PISTON ROD COMPLETE MODEL 2DP DENGAN SISTEM PNEUMATIK
Abstract
NMAX became one of the preferred motorbikes by the public. To meet the needs of the community in driving comfort, a quality shockabsorber component is needed. So that it takes productive time in piston rod complete assembling for manufacturing shockabsorber. The purpose of this research is to produce a press tool design for the piston rod complete process using 2014 solidworks software. Knowing the cycle time so that the process is more productive and produces many piston rod complete assembly items.
The method used is testing the depth of the seal, by measuring the depth of the seal against the cylinder using a calipers with a precision of 0.1 mm. The standard depth of seal is 4,40-4,60 mm. The results of seal depth testing are at an average of 4.49 mm.
The results of the design, there are top plate, middle plate, bottom plate, foot plate, clamp seal press plate, triangular clamp plate, mounting flange, mounting, shaft, lower jig, punch, jig press seal, bushing seal. Cylce time in the work of piston rod complete press is 10 seconds. Covers 4 seconds of the process of inserting a piston rod into the cylinder. 4 seconds for the engine working process and 2 seconds after the piston rod complete pressing process is complete. How it works in a piston rod complete press machine is when the on selenoid valve switch releases pressurized air from the wind tank to a pneumatic cylinder. So that the pneumatic cylinder descends and pushes the jig press then the seal enters the piston rod complete. The conclusion of this research is the existence of a complete piston rod press machine is expected to make an effective shockabsorber so that there is no shortage of goods for the needs of the motorcycle Nmax .
