Abstract
X-ray machine is medical devices that is used as diagnostic tools for patients. Conventional x-ray machine consist of a control system, high voltage and x-ray tubes. The control system on conventional x-ray machine uses too many cables to make it look less efficient. The control must also be carried out in the same room as the equipment so that it can endanger the radiographer when it is being operated, because the radiographer will be exposed to radiation continuously when going to operate the equipment. Therefore, an x-ray machine control system is designed that is safe for the radiographer when it is operated and can be efficient in the use of cables. This research method used a wireless control system so that radiographers can operate the tool from a separate room and not face to face with the device. The selection of current used several contactors for each different current. Contactors are controlled by a microcontroller which is connected by a driver circuit. The process of selecting voltage, current and time was done on a Personal Computer (PC) that connected to this device via Bluetooth. Testing was done by measuring the output voltage of the filament transformer using Avometer, then compared with the calculation of the voltage obtained from the X-ray tube specifications. Based on the testing that has been done, it was found that the correction value was small and did not deviate far, that is 0.01 V when the choice of 50 mA and 0.09 V when the choice of 60 mA. X-ray machine could be controlled wirelessly using a PC with a distance of 6 meters in a blocked condition 9 cm thick.
