Practicum is a required activity for all Electrical Engineering students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The students will be given different practicums from the first semester to the final semester, with the number of practicum activities carried out in each semester students are still limited in getting notification of information about the practicum submitted by the laboratory, while the practicum registration is still using manual methods (filling out the form) data provided by the laboratory was felt to be inefficient by the students, and also in the data collection the laboratory staff had to enter data that had been filled in by the students from the form provided. So, to overcome this problem an Android-based practicum application system was built to help students doing practicum by getting information about practicum in an update, can register practicum on a mobile basis so that it can be done wherever and whenever and also the laboratory will be facilitated because there is no need to reenter data because the student practicum registration data will immediately be filled using the application. Development of this android application uses the Java Code programming language with Firebase as a data collection database.
