One solution to the utilization of new renewable energy is by building a Waste Power Plant (PLTSa). The construction of PLTSa has a role in reducing dependence on fossil energy which has been the main source of energy in generating electricity and has helped reduce the volume of waste on earth. With the construction of the DKI Jakarta PLTSa 1500 MW is estimated to be able to meet the electrical energy needs in DKI Jakarta and help reduce the existing generation burden in supplying electricity to various sectors. The construction of PLTSa can help the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government program in an effort to deal with the capital waste problems that have occurred so far. This study uses LEAP software to simulate PLTSa starting in 2017-2027 as the simulation year limit with the amount of waste volume available and assisted by supporting data to produce a power capacity of 1,535 MW with the volume of waste in 2017.
