KUAT TEKAN BETON UNTUK RIGID PAVEMENT DENGAN CAMPURAN LIMBAH STEEL SLAG SEBAGAI PENGGANTI AGREGAT HALUS DAN PENAMBAHAN ZAT ADDITIVE DENGAN VARIASI UMUR BETON
Abstract
At his time of development industrial technology very fast, there are many industrial waste production as well as industrial steel waste known as Steel Slag. Steel Slag is derived from deposits of residual steel melting heated at ± 1500º C. This study analyzes rigid pavement of concrete using 50% mixed steel slag waste, and a 100% substitute for fine aggregate. It also used Chemical admixture in the form of Plastocrete RT06 06% and Sikamente NN 3%, using cylindrical specimens soaked for 7, 21 and 28 days. The setting time results approximately 115 minutes and 107 minutes ideal time for each variation, 15 minutes faster than normal additive concrete tie time requiring 130 minutes of concrete tie time. Meanwhile, the slump value obtains the average slump of 11.5 and 10.5 for each variation. Compressive strength testing shows that steel slag of 50% aged 28 days is 33.99 MPa, while 100% steel slag aged 28 days is 33.55 MPa..
