DISTRIBUTED GENERATION HOSTING CAPACITY DI SISTEM DISTRIBUSI BANTUL DENGAN METODE ANT LION OPTIMIZER ALGORITHM
Abstract
The development of electric energy users is increasing every year. This was indicated in 2014 users in the Yogyakarta region 972,327 users up to 2016 amounted to 1,083,074. In the distribution of electrical energy, PT. PLN uses a lot of radial distribution systems with the advantage of being easy to use, but the lack of fluctuation in the voltage at the end customer side. This study analyzes the addition of Distributed Generation (DG) to the radial distribution system to improve the voltage profile. The study test system is based on the IEEE standard and the real system of the Bantul substation.
The method used is the Ant Lion Optimizer Algorithm(ALO) by using in Matlab computation. The Ant Lion Optimizer Algorithm(ALO) method has stages such as: Walk randomly, Build traps, trap in ant lion holes, Ants slip in holes, and rebuild traps. Ant Lion population are implemented as data bus and network, while Ants population are implemented as Distributed Generation(DG) location and capacity. The results showed that the Ant Lion Optimizer algorithm method can be used to determine Distributed Generation(DG) capacity and location marked by an increase in voltage profile. Beside of that ALO can be applied in case of multiobjective purpose.
