Abstract
Evaluation of structures in accordance with the latest regulations needs to be done because the structure must bear the burden of designing safely in accordance with applicable standards. Buildings that do not have strong resistance to earthquake loads can sway and even collapse. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the resistance of buildings to earthquakes. The main components of the structure of a building are beams, columns, and floor slabs, modeled using SAP2000 version 14 software in accordance with as built drawing. The modeling begins with describing structural elements and is followed by inputting structural material, namely concrete with Concrete Quality (f'c) = 25 MPa for structural components. The results of the analysis using the equivalent static method indicate that based on the data obtained from the analysis of calculations that have been done previously from SAP2000 version 14 software it can be seen that there are several column frames in this building structure which are declared insecure against forces acting on the structure, so from that it is necessary to reinforce several column structures in this building. In this study the reinforcement system used is by adding reinforcement to the column structure. While the results of the analysis of SAP2000 version 14 software for beam structural elements indicate that all types of beams can be said to be very safe or wasteful so it is necessary to reduce the number and distance of reinforcement used to meet the needs of the number of reinforcement planning results.
