ANALISA POTENSI SUMBER DAYA ANGIN DAN SURYA SEBAGAI PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA HIBRID (PLTH) BERBASIS APLIKASI HOMER DI PANTAI INDRAYANTI, GUNUNGKIDUL
Abstract
Electricity is a very necessary source of energy for human life. The increase in electricity consumption in Indonesia also impact the reduction of fossil energy and the needed improvement in power plants owned by Indonesia. The solution is to utilize new renewable energy sources. New Renewable energy Potential (EBT) in Indonesia is very complete, ranging from water, earth to sky. The government of Indonesia has targeted the utilization of renewable energy (EBT) into a source of electrical energy by 23% in the year 2025. This research uses pure research methods. The Data in this research is determined by purposive sampling technique, which is a sampling technique that does not provide the same opportunity in each population to be used as a sample of research and set specific characteristics in accordance with the research objectives. As well as the data that this research uses is secondary data from locations located on Indrayanti Beach means that the data captured is acquired or gathered from various sources. The results and analyses on the planning of the PLTH system were simulated in the HOMER application, aiming to facilitate the electricity energy needs of 150 houses. From the results of the calculations that have been simulated by HOMER recorded the total needs of electricity energy consumption of 945.54 kWh/day, the average electrical load per hour 39.4 kWh and the possible peak loads that can occur within 1 year 100.81 kWp, Load factor recorded at 0.39. The design of the HOMER system uses an off-grid system configuration with a combination of 12 wind turbine capacity of 6 kW DC, 280 solar panels with a capacity of 0.3 kW, 570 battery capacity of 1,425 Ah, and a 125 kW converter. From HOMER's simulation with the optimal configuration of the author's choice this PLTH system can produce a total energy of 509.052 kWh/year. With AC load consumption of 345.121 kWh/year. Excess electricity or excess electrical energy from this plant is 130.173 kWh/year. The cost of the investment or Net Present Cost (NPC) PLTH is US $1.191.534, operating cost ($/yr) or maintenance with operations is US $13.344.46/year.
