KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL GURU DI ERA MODERN DALAM MEMBENTUK AKHLAK MULIA SANTRI DI MADRASAH ALIYAH PONDOK PESANTREN ISY KARIMA

This study aims to investigate aspects of ustadz’ (teacher) interpersonal communication with santri (students of a Islamic boarding school) in the modern era in forming the noble character of students, to investigate ustadz’s interpersonal communication patterns with students, to describe the supporting factors and constraints of interpersonal communication that occurred in Madrasah Aliyah Islamic Boarding School of Isy Karima, and to describe santri’s conflicts in Madrasah Aliyah Islamic Boarding School of Isy Karima. This study is a type of qualitative research with the data collecting technique through in depth interview, observation, and documentation with data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, it is found that the aspects of ustadz's interpersonal communication in Islamic Boarding School of Isy Karima, namely: a. Openness; b. Empathy; c. Supporting attitude; d. Positive; e. Equality in forming the noble character of students. The second research result is that the ustadz's interpersonal communication pattern in the modern era in forming the noble character of students in Islamic Boarding School of Isy Karima are two communication patterns, namely: a. Linear Pattern, and b. Interaction Pattern. The third research result is that there are several constraints and supporting factors on the interpersonal communication. The fourth research result is that there are several conflicts of Madrasah Aliyah santri that occurred in the Boarding School environment related to moral values in the modern era as follows: a. Bringing a cellphone in the boarding house environment; b. Using applications in mobile phones with the intention of doing immoral things; c. Running away santri; d. Santri's mental illness.
