dc.descriptionTourism is one of Indonesia’s national interest that need to be developed because Indonesian tourism is still lacking in terms of the competitiveness, promotion, institutions, and others. In the current era of globalization, the attempt to realize the national interest of the nation can be helped by nongovernmental actors through cultural diplomacy. One of the non-governmental actors who is actively helping the government in realizing the national interest in tourism sector is Keraton Yogyakarta. As Javanese Culture Stakeholder Institution, Keraton Yogyakarta is actively promoting the Javanese Culture to international world as an attempt to introduce Yogyakarta in the form of traditional music, dance, puppet, and other arts to the international community directly and by digital media. This undergraduate thesis will explain more about the attempt of Keraton Yogyakarta in promoting Yogyakarta tourism abroad. The explanation in this thesis is made in qualitative descriptive.en_US
