| dc.description | The prolonged conflict that occurred in Syria, made Syriah residents seek protection and flee to neighboring countries to the European region. The flow of refugees to seek protection makes opportunities for illegal immigrants to infiltrate the refugee flow. Cases of illegal immigrants occur in the border regions of Turkey and Greece to enter Europe. The large flow of illegal migration and Syrian refugees has led the European Union and Turkey to work together in dealing with the refugee crisis. The collaboration was established through the EU-Turkey Joint Action Plan and the Eu-Turkey Statement. In this thesis will examine the process of international cooperation that exists between the European Union and Turkey, and analyze the main objectives of the EU-Turkey Joint Action Plan and the Eu-Turkey Statement. The concept of international cooperation is used to analyze cooperation between the European Union and Turkey from the beginning of the refugee crisis, to the final Eu-Turkey Statement. In the implementation of the Eu-Turkey Statement the cooperation is more effective than the previous cooperation EU-Turkey Joint Action Plan, which is able to reduce and hold the flow of migration into the European region and deal with refugees under the Temporary Protection Regulation (TPR) in Turkey. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Konflik berkepanjangan yang terjadi di Suriah, membuat warga suriah mencari perlindungan dan mengungsi ke negara-negara tetangga hingga ke wilayah Eropa. Terjadinya arus pengungsi untuk mencari perlindungan menjadikan peluang para imigran ilegal untuk menyusup dalam arus pengungsi. Kasus imigran illegal banyak terjadi di wilayah perbatasan Turki dan Yunani untuk masuk ke wilayah Eropa. Besarnya arus migrasi illegal dan pengungsi Suriah membuat Uni Eropa dan Turki melakukan kerjasama dalam penanganan krisis pengungsi. Kerjasama tersebut terjalin melalui EUTurkey Joint Action Plan dan Eu-Turkey Statement. Di dalam skripsi ini akan meneliti proses kerjasama internasional yang terjalin antara Uni Eropa dan Turki, dan menganalisa tujuan utama dari EU-Turkey Joint Action Plan dan Eu-Turkey Statement. Konsep kerjasama internasional digunakan untuk menganalisa kerjasama antara Uni Eropa dan Turki dari awal terjadinya krisis pengungsi, hingga kesepakatan akhir EuTurkey Statement. Dalam implementasi kerjasama Eu-Turkey Statement berjalan lebih efektif dari kerjasama sebelumnya EUTurkey Joint Action Plan, yang mampu mengurangi dan menahan arus migrasi yang masuk ke kawasan Eropa serta menangani para Pengungsi dibawah Temporary Protection Regulation (TPR) di Turki. | en_US |
