dc.descriptionThe purpose of this research is to study the factors that influence innovative work behavior in the context of a startup companies. As an antecedent, transformational and transactional leadership style with innovative climate as a mediator. The research subjects is digital Startup managers and employees in the city of Yogyakarta. The sample was determined by purposive sampling. Based on the criteria, 118 respondents from 50+ Startups were collected. Analysis of research data using the technique of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) which was done with statistical analysis tools AMOS 22. The results suggest that the direct effect of transformational leadership styles on innovative work behaviors was significant, whereas the traksaksional leadership style has no effect on innovative work behavior, and the innovative climate proved to significantly affect the innovative work behavior. In the indirect effect test, the innovative climate does not have a mediating effect on the relationship between transformational leadership styles and innovative work behaviors, whereas in the relationship between transactional leadership styles and innovative work behaviors, the mediating effects of the innovative climate occur.en_US
