This study aims to determine the effect of the application of organic matter and the most effective organic matter on the growth of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.). on former tin mining land The study was conducted using a field experiment method carried out in polybags with a single factor design treatment. The study consisted of 4 treatments, namely without treatment of organic matter, 30 tons / hectare of cow manure, 30 tons / hectare of chicken manure and 30 tons / hectare of water hyacinth compost The results showed that the treatment of organic matter had an effect on the growth of tomato plants in the former tin mining and compost water hyacinth land providing the most effective tomato growth.
