The United States (US) and China are leading a trade war by mutually protecting protection policies that prevent the entry of goods produced by opposing parties. This happened starting from the policy of US President Donald Trump, who realized the imposition of new higher import tariffs on goods from China. Responding to the policy realized by the US, the Chinese Government responded by raising new import tariffs that were higher on US products. This attack by using tariffs then led to a trade war between the US and China. There are factors that triggered Donald Trump to start a trade war with China that made America realize new policies. the factors that caused Donald Trump to start a trade war with China because the Chinese economy is developing very rapidly and will replace the US position as the strongest economy that makes Trump Worried. Besides that China gets more trade profits and is considered to have committed various cheats in trade.
