This research aims to determine the benefit of rice farmers in suburban area, the factors that affect the production of rice in peri urban area and determine the efficiency of rice farming in suburban neighborhood. This research was conducted in the District of Sewon, Banguntapan and Kasihan by purposive. Each sub-district of the village taken by using simple random sampling that took the village by way of lottery and obtained Bangunharjo Village, District Sewon, tamanan village, sub-district and village Banguntapan Tamantirto, Kasihan. Every village taken one farmer group by using simple random sampling and obtained Poktan "Mekar Tani" Bangunharjo Village, District of Sewon, Poktan "Krobo'an"Tamanan Village, District Banguntapan and Poktan "Sidorejo" Village Tamantirto, Kasihan. Similarly, the farmers samples taken using simple random sampling and obtained 30 respondents farmers, each farmer group 10 respondents. The data were obtained using a questionnaire using interviews. Then the data were analyzed using analysis of profits, production function and efficiency analysis. Benefit of farmers in the dry season Rp. 3,911,954, while the rainy season Rp. 4,788,132 results showed that when analyzed using the t test, partial factors of production of field, seed, labors, liquid pesticide and solid pesticide significantly affect rice production. While the labors are efficient, on the other hands field, seed, liquid pesticide and solid pesticide has not been efficient in its use.
