Periodontitis can cause bleeding, swelling, pain, and discomfort to the patient that affect the oral health related quality of life. Curettage which are procedures for removing granulation tissue can recover aspects of life including oral function, appearance and interpersonal relationships so that they are expected to provide positive results for the quality of life. The purpose of this research is to determine the quality of life of patients with periodontitis after curettage treatment at UMY dental hospital. This was a descriptive observational with a cross sectional study design and using a questionnaire. The population in this study were all periodontitis patients who had performed curettage treatment at UMY dental hospital during the period April-May 2019. The total number of samples in this study were 14 people. Using the OHIP-14 questionnaire with good, medium and bad categories, where the lower the score obtained, the better the quality of life. The results showed that the quality of life of patients with periodontitis after curettage treatment received a mean score of 4.5 which was included in the good categories. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the quality of life of patients with periodontitis after curettage treatment is generally in a good category because it successfully eliminates the complaints previously felt by patients
