PENGARUH MASA TANAM TERHADAP KUALITAS MOCAF (Modified Cassava Flour) DARI BERBAGAI VARIETAS SINGKONG (Manihot esculenta Crantz)
Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of planting period on the quality of
Mocaf flour and obtain varieties and a good planting period for Mocaf quality.
The study used a field trial method with factorial treatment conducted in a
Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor, cassava varieties
Gambyong, Gatotkaca and Kirik. The second factor, the planting period in
September-May, October-June, and November-July, with each treatment repeated
3 times. Variables observed included water content, protein, starch, fiber, HCN,
whiteness and aroma.
The results showed that the planting period had no effect on the quality of
Mocaf flour, based on starch content, degree of whiteness and aroma. Gatotkaca
varieties in September to May planting period produce the best quality Mocaf.
