| dc.description | Pariwisata Halal terus berkembang menjadi jenis pariwisata yang paling
diminati pada beberapa dekade terakhir. Pesatnya pertumbuhan pasar
wisatawan Muslim yang berjalan seiring dengan pesatnya pertumbuhan
populasi Muslim di dunia menjadikan segmen pasar wisata Halal semakin
diminati di banyak negara. Indonesia sebagai negara dengan populasi Muslim
terbesar juga menjadi salah satu negara yang paling progresif dan paling
pesat perkembangan wisata halalnya. Diantara 10 destinasi wisata Halal
unggulan yang dimiliki Indonesia, Provinsi Riau menjadi destinasi wisata
Halal yang paling pesat perkembangannya diantara destinasi wisata Halal
lainnya. Tulisan ini akan mengidentifikasi serta menganalisis strategi apa
yang diterapkan di Provinsi Riau sehingga mampu menjadi destinasi wisata
Halal paling progresif, terlepas dari fakta bahwa Provinsi Riau memiliki
keindahan alam yang paling sedikit dibanding destinasi wisata Halal lain di

| dc.description.abstract | Halal tourism continues to develop into the most popular type of
tourism in the last few decades. The rapid growth of the Muslim tourist
market that goes hand in hand with the rapid growth of the Muslim
population in the world makes the Halal tourism market segment
increasingly in demand in many countries. Indonesia as the country
with the largest Muslim population is also one of the most progressive
and fastest growing halal tourism countries. Among the 10 leading
Halal tourism destinations owned by Indonesia, Riau Province is the
fastest growing Halal tourism destination among other Halal tourism
destinations. This paper will identify and analyze what strategies are
implemented in Riau Province so that they can become the most
progressive Halal tourism destinations, despite the fact that Riau
Province has the least natural beauty compared to other Halal tourist
