PENGARUH INKORPORASI PLATELET RICH PLASMA PADA PERANCAH HIDROGEL CaCO3 TERHADAP PENYEMBUHAN LUKA PADA TIKUS Rattus norvegicus (Tinjauan Histologis Ketebalan Epitel)
Abstract
Background: Teeth extraction always cause wounds or tissue damage either soft or hard and results in pain, hemorrhage, and edema. Ideally the extraction is painless with trauma as slight as possible. Reepitelisasi tissue is a process in wound healing. The healing process of wounds needs to pass through a phase of inflammatory, proliferation, and remodeling. Tissue engineering is the technology services in the field of medicine that can be applied in wound healing, which takes 3 main requirement i.e., cells, the signals of growth, and scaffolding. Hidrogel CaCO3 scaffolding as a place for the growth of new tissue. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) have 7 active Growth factor proteins secreted in the process of wound healing. Incorporation PRP on scaffolding Hidrogel CaCO3 is expected to affect the process of wound healing. Method: this type of research is experimental with animals containing of 24 samples, using a white Rat (Rattus Norvegicus). Divided into 4 treatment groups, namely the PRP and scaffolding, scaffolding, Spongostan positive control, and negative control. Observed in some time i.e. 3 days 7 days and 14 days, later wound healing will be measured by the thickness of epitel using histological preparations observed with the microscope and its application to measure the thickness of the Capture Bell epithelium. Results: On the four sample viewed by average thickness epitel, day 3 has not been formed epithelial, 7th day obtained a mean thickness of the epithelium of the PRP groups and scaffold 0.195 mm, Scaffolding 0,141 mm, Spongostan 0.158 mm, control positif 0,101 mm. On the 14th day of the PRP group scaffolding 0.259 mm, Scaffold 0,171 mm, Spongostan 0,182 mm, control negatif 0.121 mm. The results then analyzed with Oneway Annova, with test results on day 7 p = 0,418 and the 14th p = 0,182 that show no effect results in a significant way (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Incorporation PRP on Scaffolding Hidrogel CaCO3 does not effect on wound healing on the rat Rattus Norvegicus (thickness of the Epithelial Histological Review) However, based on the graph the average epithelium thickness the Incorporation PRP on Scaffolding Hidrogel CaCO3 has a thickness of the epithelium that is higher than the group scaffold, spongostan, and control.
