PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS PADI (Oryza sativa L.) LOKAL DENGAN BERBAGAI MACAM PENGAIRAN
Abstract
A research aims to examine the physiology, growth and yield of rice in several rice varieties using SRI and conventional irrigation methods. The study was conducted using a 3x4 factorial strip plot design arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design with 3 blocks as replications. The first factor is the type of irrigation in which there are 3 treatments namely conventional irrigation, intermittent irrigation: 10 days inundated, 5 days drained and intermittent irrigation: 7 days inundated, 3 days dried. The second factor is the type of rice varieties consisting of 4 varieties, namely Rojolele Genjah, Mentik Wangi, Mentik Susu and Cempo Hitam so that there are 12 combinations. The results showed that the plant height of the early Rojolele variety was higher than other varieties. The weight of grain per clump and grain yield per hectare of Fragrant Mentik, Milk Mentik and Cempo Hitam varieties are higher than the Early Rojolele Varieties. Irrigation with 7 days of stagnant water and 3 days of dry produce panicle length, harvest index, diameter of the stomata opening and the number of stomata is higher than other irrigation. CGR irrigated rice plants are intermittently lower than conventional irrigation. There is an interaction between varieties and irrigation on the leaf area of rice plants, Black Cempo Varieties with irrigation intermittently 10 days of dried 5 days resulting in the highest leaf area.
