South coastal of Kulon progo has a various potential and problem. Such as chicken husbandry, shrimp pond, watermelon and vegetables cultivation. With that potentials will bring the expectation to increase native economics level by good managements. Illegal shrimp fishing appears and disturb the people there, causing environment matter such waste scent and loudly sound from the diesel machine which use in shrimp pond operation. This research aims to describe people’s knowledge in Karangsewu about shrimp pond rules, describe society attitude toward shrimp pond over Trisik beach, and to find out the factors that influence that society attitude in Karangsewu village. The respondents in this research are 60 head of household by Descriptive analysis. The results show that people in Karangsewu knew about the shrimp pond rules and people also agree about the existence of shrimp pond and make it if there is an official rule by the native government.
